Of the eleven judges at the Tokyo Trials, only Radhabinod Pal had specialized in international law. Basing his position strictly on the law and rules of evidence, he maintained that the Tokyo Trials were in error. He wrote a dissidenting judgment, in which he concluded that “each and everyone of the accused must be found tnot guilty of each and every one of the charges in the indictment and should be acquitted of those charges.”
Prof. Watanabe introduces the major points of the 700 page “Judgment” by directly quoting Pal’s words in his book “The Tokyo Trials and the Truth of the Pal’s Judgment.”

『パル判決書』原文（国書刊行会刊）全文が、われわれのサイトにアップされ、
下記の通り、世界のマスコミ、学者、識者４０００名余りに紹介されました。

国書刊行会のご好意によるものです。世界中の人がいつでもこの世紀の労作を読み、
ダウンロードすることができるようになったわけです。

　日本語訳は『パル判決書上・下』（講談社学術文庫）として刊行されていますが、

Radhabinod Pal of India was one of the eleven judges at the “Tokyo Trials".
Of the eleven, he was the only judge who had professional knowledge in international law. Basing his position strictly on the law and rules of evidence, he maintained that the Tokyo Trials were in error. He wrote a dissentient judgment, in which he concluded that “each and everyone of the accused must be found not guilty of each and every one of the charges in the indictment and should be acquitted of those charges.”
His judgment is very comprehensive in its historical evidentiary descriptions and strict application of international law.

は、『東京裁判却下未提出弁護側資料』（国書刊行会）という全８巻総ページ数５千５百ページ
という膨大な文献資料の抜粋版です。

　斯くも膨大な弁護側資料が却下されたという事実そのものが、東京裁判なるものの本質を
雄弁に物語っているといえましょう。

　本書は単なる抜粋ではなく、先ず序論において小堀博士が東京裁判の法的根拠、裁判の進行
過程、証拠の扱い方、弁護側の反証の仕方、そして全体としての東京裁判批判を展開している。
本書に収録されている文書は却下されたもの以外に正式に陳述された重要な弁論
（ローガン、ブレークニーのものなど）も含まれており、東京裁判の全容を知る格好な資料です。

　英訳版は「未来政経研究会」より２００３年に出版されたが、ご好意により

This book was written and edited by Dr. Kobori Keiichiro, Professor Emeritus of Tokyo University. He edited and published “Defense Evidence Rejected by the Tokyo Trials,” which encompasses eight volumes of 5,500 pages.
“The Tokyo Trials: Unheard Defense” excerpts from the larger work. The fact that such enormous volumes of evidence were rejected alone demonstrates the true nature of the Tokyo Trials.
Dr. Kobori writes an introduction to this book in which he summarizes the legal basis for the Tokyo Trials, how the Trials progressed and how evidence was treated.
